Thanks for the reply Damon. I've done that using software. An example here I was more looking for the correct f/stop and/or shutter speed settings to get as much as possible. I achieved that somewhat here. But unfortunately, it was not manually don…

A little background. I have been trying to experiment with the numerous settings on my camera. Probably unlike most, I do not have a DSLR ( I have a Canon S5 IS ). I hope to be upgrading to one in the next few months. However, what I have surmised,…

When I took the this photo, I took at from a fair distance because it was on private property. I liked the photo, but it was very flat from a compositional point of view. I have never done this to a posted photo before, but I added depth the image u…

Road photos across USA

Hi, Im planning on doing a trip across US starting L.A. all route 66 ending in Chicago and then to New York.
Any tips of things that I can find to shoot along the way ?
It can be anything, from sightseeing to a famous crazy guy in a town.

Regards,

Diego

Electric Shock

I did the second part of the Littlewoods pools shoot yesterday, got off to a great start, we hired this large studio in Battersea, London. I was quite happy setting up my lights, the studio manager pointed me in the direction of there extention leads.

I picked up this coiled extension lead, plugged it into the wall, like you do and thought great this will do the trick, so I walked over to one of my strobes holding the end of the extension lead when WALLOP!!! yep, one hell of an electric shock w… Continue
